APRIL 2020

The IMHAANZ FAN Training Team are delighted to release their recently recorded webinar on Mindful Self-Regulation for COVID-19.

We recognise that this is a very unsettling time for both the general public and people who are trying to do their frontline/helping jobs. We have found the FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions) model to be an incredibly useful tool for facilitating the emotional calm required to connect (attune) and deliver important services in a meaningful way. Using mindful self-regulation for calming also has a down-regulating effect on our own bodies and brains which helps prevent burnout.

You are invited to register for this free + short (35 minute) webinar in which we introduce both the FAN and Mindful Self-Regulation (MSR) – as well as providing you with some takeaway strategies for increasing your ability to be calm and connected during this time and beyond. All registration information is kept strictly for analytical purposes.

This webinar is free for all frontline and helping-orientated workers – whether community-based or working from home – during this time of elevated stress of the COVID-19 outbreak. Please share with your colleagues and networks as you are able.

The webinar is presented by the IMHAANZ FAN Training team: Denise Guy, Judy Hunter and Lucie Zwimpfer. We offer FAN training in New Zealand and Australia. The FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions) model is a research-backed tool for building relationships and reflective practice. You can read more about it and IMHAANZ FAN Training here.

The access password for the webinar is: breathe@c19

After watching we would appreciate you completing a brief feedback form which only has 5 questions and will take about 2 minutes to fill in. CLICK HERE to access this.
